Focal length, shutter speed & stabilization.

  1. Don't remember the specifics, but I think someone noted that the oly 45/1.8 at faster than 1/80sec captures a higher quality image with the stabilizer off.

Outside of the old school "rule" of 1/focal length or faster to reduce the chance of blur. If at all at what shutter speed for a specific focal length is in body or in lens stabilization going to degrade the image? Or is it lens specific? That is, for some lens no matter what the shutter speed it's best to shoot with stabilization on while hand holding?
