Swift Peacock Swallowtail #02 – Kemenuh Butterfly Park, Bali, Indonesia by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

One of the prettier, in my view, butterflies at the Kemenuh Butterfly Park, a Swift Peacock Swallowtail (Papilio peranthus) enjoying the flowers.

We spent a fair bit of time exploring the Kemenuh Butterfly Park in Bali, Indonesia. I can highly recommend it if you are in Bali and in the Ubud area.

Top shot is really outstanding. Great detail- veining in pet.als etc good bokeh and contrast of darkish flower against bright background. All works well.

Thank you. The sun was very strong. I shaded the flower heads with my left hand while holding the camera with my right. Another advantage of a lightweight system.

Mine doesn’t have a corkscrew so I don’t feel that it really qualifies as a Swiss Army knife.
