I had big shooting plans while visiting the in-laws last week. In the end the only shots were in their yard, which thankfully has nice flowers and well-fed birds and squirrels. I tried shooting roses with different perspectives than my typical ones.

Our Zinnias have always been pink or red, but this year we've got this one yellow one:

We have red, pink, yellow and cream colored zinnias. The reds have the most and densest petals, followed by the pinks, creams and yellows. Mine are about 4 feet off the ground so it's easy to see all the bug life going on in them.
