Thanks to a bit more sunshine, my one lonely Iris 'Harmony' has been joined by a couple of its fellows.
Rather than use my 60mm Macro lens, I was inspired by @RS86 to dig out my Panasonic 45-150mm lens with the Raynox 150 attached.

And I felt a bit sorry for this Crocus, that had been battered by some gales, but was putting on a bit of a show, despite being flattened.

Thirty six years ago I was taking an evening ceramics class and I gave the cute teacher a flowering plant for Valentines Day, she asked me out, things happened and somehow she has kept the plant alive all this time. And it still flowers every winter.

This is the first time I've tried growing these Iris 'Pauline'.
They poked their tiny heads (approx 2" across) out on the rockery three days ago, just in time for the latest storm with 50+ mph winds accompanied by about 3" of rain.
They're a bit battered but I love the unusual colour.
