Visiting Longwood Gardens in PA this past month. The flowers in the conservatory were beautiful. Great to see in the winter...

These are the wisp-like flowers of the Chinese Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Mollis) in our garden this afternoon, against a most un-Welsh azure sky.

Took a little detour off the main road today, coming home from a mini break. Spotted a paddock of yellow, which I initially thought would be lucerne, but is sunflowers. Luckily there was a driveway nearby to park in.

Difficult to get an overview as I don't know the area to find a high spot and look down.

Forgive the unsolicited advice - I love this shot - but I think cropping off the bottom portion just above the tip of the foreground whitish petal and making it into a wide horizontal creates a more graphic and dynamic image. Just IMHO - I like it!
I tried, but I couldn't find the balance anymore. But this is just an opinion of mine. Maybe others disagree.

This is what I had in mind - but it's a minor thing - it's a beautiful image either way - love the color contrast between the yellow/orange and purples
