For some reason, not exactly sure why, the bokeh here is extremely pleasing. Must be the nice mix of blues going on behind the bright flower. Great shot!

Olympus PEN E-PL1 + Pentacon 135mm f/2.8 15-blade lens, wide open. Slightly tweaked the colours in Lightroom, but nothing fancy.
~tc~ I say it half in jest and half not! I have in my bag of tricks 14 lenses and while the 14-45mm F/3.5 - 5.6 is not a bad lens it is by far the weakest lens I have in my collection. I very seldom use it but today I had it with me and I needed a certain amount of abstraction. Luckily, with he aid of the +2 filter it did come through for me.nothing to hate on there ... Why do you say hateful?
Technically, going way back to my college biology ... the flower is the sexual organ of the plant ... as this Dandelion is wantonly dispersing it's seed helter-skelter with every breeze ... I'd say yeah, it is still a flower.Not sure if it's technically still a flower in it's present form, but here it is:
