    The flash is effective and number 2 pic stands out nicely. Black background is what i like about that one. Looks nice enough to eat.

    Thank you. No, only the first one is a rose, the second I think is a hibiscus, although my botany knowledge is next to none :blush:

    Thank you very much, KVG.
    The flash was a nice help with close-ups, I left the camera in AutoISO and switched to M. Worked very well, it chose ISO200 thus black background (the morning was very overcast).
