I'm just wondering out loud if 500px can create something actually useful in the discussion capability they're rolling out. Flickr's sucks, though the information you get via Google is useful. I usually just pop in and out for specific discussions about questions I have. dpreview's discussion board is equally ridiculous IMO. I get tired of always clicking on "Flat" view rather than the completely useless "threaded" view that's the default. dpreview also suffers from an abundance of idiots who have no idea what they're talking about but say it anyway. But maybe 500px will be different. Better. Fresh. Upvote buttons! Whoopee! But seriously, I haven't been all that impressed with the "community" on 500px. Too much self-aggrandizing by commenting in completely useless ways on other's photos when you have no intention of appreciating the other photographer's work but are only interested in spreading your web to get likes for your own work. This is Pessimist Friday, BTW if you didn't get the memo!
