I just purchased the EM 1 and would like to purchase a flash attachment I am an amateur and would use it for fill and photos. I would like it to be reliable and have the ability to turn and tilt. All suggestions would be well appreicated Thank You
I got the Meike MK320, for mostly the same reasons as you, and with an eye towards it compact size. Has not used it much yet, but it is tiny and reasonable powerful. MeiKe MK320 for Micro Four Thirds review | Lighting Rumours
I'm still using my FL50r & FL36r flashes on mine. Maybe a used one at a good price might be an option.
just bought the yongnuo yn560III (bought 3) and the yn560-tx last week, no ttl but I'm enjoying it so far, with what little of flash I know. I'm learning slowly though
I like Nissin i40 too. I have 3 of them for my aquarium photography. Last month i dropped 2 of them into the fish tank. Took them out, opened the housings and dried them for 24h . They still works like new- unbelievable, huh.
Never did like the FL-600R. Sold it and bought a discontinued FL-50R and FL-36R. Also pre-ordered the new Nissin i60A.
Also the non-R versions which can probably be had for even cheaper, assuming the original poster doesn't need remote operation. I still use an FL-50 and FL-36 myself on my E-M1. I have also been intrigued by the Meike MK320, as mentioned above, as a possible extra compact travel flash.
