Well, after a week of taking pictures of my foot, cats, wall outlets, etc., I finally took my G5 out and about. The controls are laid out much differently than on my beloved G1, which has not left my side in 3 years. Took some time to get the G5 setup like I wanted and feel confident enough to be able to change its setting on the fly. Jumped right in to what I love shooting: B&W HDR. Enjoy the faster burst rate and higher usable ISO of the G5. Worth the price right there for me. I'm able to shoot handheld brackets with much higher precision than before. Pic below was shot f/16 @ ISO 160 (5 stacked, +/-2 stops, processed w/ Photomatrix and Lightroom) with 14-45 stock lens kit. This camera's going to be with me awhile.
