*Kinda gig. I'm shooting/filming a friend's company christmas party/dance. I've got softbox lights and a whole range of focal lengths to deal with, so I feel confident. Plus I've got some time to practice and hone my skills.

Any general must-do's or must-do-not's?
My plan was to use a 30mm f2.8 for lit portraits, a 14mm f2.5 for run-n-gun video, and spice it up with a couple shots (film and still) with a 85mm f1.4.

If you want to use bounce flash, go to the venue and make sure the ceilings are white.

Now that Im thinking about it, bounce flash would work perfect in a couple places at the venue. Didn't even consider this. Thanks!
