Last Weekend I attended the Osgoode Medieval Festival as requested by the Event Coordinator. Took a bunch of videos and photographs of the various happenings and reported on them in my post.

Used the GH2 with 20mm f1.7 lens and Nikon D90 with a variety of telephoto lenses. Overall very happy with the results from the GH2 over the D90 - it definitely takes much better video than the D90 (I compared it with last year's video which was awful).

Overall I found that the GH2 was a good alternative to the small point & shoot. Having less weight than the D90 (which I used for the Jousting Photography) when I was walking around the stalls and various merchants venues the GH2 was my camera of choice. I also found that the 20mm f/1.7 was a good Field of View Lens for quickly snapping photos of event visitors and later when doing video gave me a nice wide field, and using the ETC in video mode quickly transformed that lens to a 100mm full-frame equivalent and in the full sun the ISO stayed low enough that the quality was fantastic (I do find the quality of the ETC drops as the scene gets darker and iso is boosted - this is due to the single pixel reading vs. what I'm guessing is a partial median filter or pixel binning on regular video mode).
