First attempt at B&W

    Love to hear your thoughts. Took this picture of my niece with my Epl-5 and the sigma 30mm. The original is SOOC JPEG. I did the B&W on the 30 day free trial of Photoshop.

    the B/W conversion looks fine... more worried about the lump growing out the kids head.

    maybe look at an alternative crop to remove this ? the whole image looks a bit bottom heavy to me

    just a quick thought

    Some portraits look better in B&W and this is definitely one of them. Nicely done.

    Very good! I do think the BW looks better than the color pic. Lately I have been learning Lightroom 4 and love the BW conversion controls in it.
