Hello fellow m4/3 users.

Last week I had the pleasure to participate in a photo event organized by my favourite local photo group.
It was a nice afternoon shooting in the facilities and surroundings of an old abandoned factory.
The sun was not to bright because the sky was partially cloudy, but was enough to get decent light even inside a warehouse.
About 20 photographers were present and I didn't spotted any other photographer using m43 besides me.

I've used the following gear:

Olympus OMD EM5 Mark II
Olympus OMD EM10 Mark II
Olympus M.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8
Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8
Pana-Leica Summilux 25mm f/1.4

I brought my Godox TT685o with me but I never felt the need (or I was a bit lazy) to use it.
I forgot my reflector at home, so all photos were shot using the available light.

All photos were edited in Photoshop.

Credits and Exif are in the linked files on Flickr.

I hope you like it :)

Thank you for your kind words!
mu-43 has been one of my main learning sources.

Sometimes I get tempted by other systems (low light situations mostly, or even shallower DOF).
But 90% of my photography is portraiture, and when I have control over the photoshoot (location, hour of the day, distance from background) I find micro 4/3 perfectly good for my needs and very enjoyable to use.
I wish more photographers that sometimes shoot by my side with Canikons switch to m/43 so the system can spread and evolve. So, whenever I can I show my results to them and I publish in other photography communities.

Hello fellow m4/3 users.

Stunning portraits, Jaime. Beautiful colours and setting of the models.
And as Teemu said: "best promotion for 4/3". The M.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 is a great lens for portraits when you have enough distance.
It's not the lens or the camera, however, that produces excellent results but the person behind. Thanks for sharing this beautiful series.

Curious how this went. Does each photographer get a turn with each model (I assume there are a few sets of model+photographer going on at any given time) so that when you are working with one, they are concentrating on you alone? And who gives the models direction? Did they have someone there to help with that or where the models really good at posing without direction? I noticed they all seem to really know great ways to hold their hands during poses so was curious if the models did it, you directed them, or if a third party was directing the poses.

among all the pictures of 45 mm and 75 mm you have one using 25 mm. why did you choose the 25 mm for that particular picture?
All are very beautiful photographs.
