raw, ISO = 100-400, Film=Nature, Face Detect mode used.
This would be how I would set it up for street photography.
Exposure adj and sharpening only... (not much exp adj though)

    ISO 320

    1st impressions....
Very Good... Great sharpness, great colors, nice High ISO sharpness... although some may not consider 400 ISO high... But, I have a 640 ISO file also... still very good. The G1 is a breeze to use... Love the Swinging LCD.... As you see from a few of the images above.

Glad ya like the lens. I love it myself. Your doing good with it.
I prefer it to the Panny 20 which is a stellar performer but just a little too tight.
Beings that you have the G1, you don't really need the finder for the 17 but I'll tell ya, I love that set up....
    Enjoy and post some more....

    Oh the 17...

Had it as my only M4/3 lens for 3months and I didn't even think that I need more...

*but yeah I need more in a way that I need more focal lengths to cover

I'd like a 12mm f/2.8 Prime also.... Pancake of course.
An 8mm Prime already available, so a 12mm would be a natural one to add.
Pany or Oly can make it... don't care, as long as it's a 12/13mm f/2.8 pancake. But, My "M" mount lenses will fill the gap for longer than 35mm fov for now.
