I am thrilled to say that I finally found a local E-M5 and we have spent the past few hours getting to know each other. I have to say that I thought the menus on my E-PL2 were complicated when I bought it a few years ago, but the E-M5 has proven even more challenging. I'm certainly not complaining--I knew there would be a learning curve. I've only taken a few test shots in my living room, in really poor light, but am still thrilled with these initial results. Low light performance on this camera is so much better than what I'm used to, and even what I was expecting. I would pretty much put the E-PL2 away once the sun went down, but no more! The E-M5 will be out and about in the evening as well as during the day. Here are two of the bad shots I took this evening: I know these are terrible, but I'm simply thrilled with them and can't wait to get out to take some real pictures. I feel a sick day or two coming up. I am perplexed by a few of the buttons not working as expected. I'm off to search the forum for answers and will hopefully not bug anyone too much here for info on getting the most out of my new baby.
