Filter recommendation for 75mm lens

    It is only for protection purpose, so I would like to find a filter lighter given that the lens is already heavy.

    I have one (B&W I think) that came w/my lens. I don't really use them if you are interested in purchasing. I prefer to use a hood.

    Get a hood. A UV/skylight filter is likely to impair the IQ and in reality makes lens damage more likely than less (broken filter = shards of glass splinters on your lens).

    I'd recommend a hood over UV filter for protection too. Although if you do want to go UV filter route- any reputable brand multi coated filter will work, don't get a cheap one or you'll get lots of bounce back glare in your images.
