I am getting my new Nokton lens soon and been thinking of putting a cover/filter in the front to protect the glass while i am using it.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

Keep the supplied hood & cap on and it will be rare that you need a filter for protection. The only time I add a protective filter (a Hoya UV filter) is when I am by the sea in windy conditions.

You might find some ND filters useful for daytime, I generally cary a Cokin P-series holder and a 4-stopper (ND1.2) filter but a 3-stop would be perfectly adequate (aka ND8 ir ND0.9 depending on the rating system)

    Thanks PeterB666!

How do I determine the size of the filter that i need?

Do you have any links for the UV filter and any dedicated ND filter for this lens?
