I have a question for those in the know; how important is it to have all of the rubber covers in place. Or, will the weather proofing be compromised if any covers are not firmly snapped into place, including the covers on the bottom where grips make electrical contact. Thanks, John

This is for the EM1, but I think it applies to all the EM1 series and EM5 series too.

On the other hand, if you think it's really going to get dunked, you could opt for a underwater pouch like this. Not an endorsement. I've never used a case like this.
