Yesterday we came back from 18 days in Europe. As we left our hotel in the rental car to drive to the airport, I stopped to take a few more shots. A couple of hours later, we dropped the car off by the Sixt office at the airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia. After dragging all of our luggage to the departures area we were waiting on line to check in when a man from Sixt came running up with my E-M1/12-35, which I had left on the floor in the back seat.
After I stopped shaking about loosing the last several days shots on the SD card (my wife's first reaction), not to mention more than $2,000 in gear (my first reaction), I just had to smile at this guy who ran all the way to find me, and then just ran back to work. Without even waiting for a thanks or anything.
Gotta remember the good stuff that happens and forget the bad stuff.
