I'm in AR over the weekend (to far to drive home for just a day) so went to Gentry, AR to the Wild Wilderness Drive Through Safari - it was a fun couple of hours....

I had never shot a peacock in it's full regalia and had thought that the shots I've seen had been overly processed - I found out today that that's just the way they are...

And they have heard of buffalo that was mixed with Charolais cattle many generations ago they have continued the heard - according to the owner they are about 15/16 part buffalo but retain the white color from the the Charolais cattle.

These were all shot with the EM5 and the 35-100 with the exception of the last one where I used the 100-300.

Fantastic set, especially 3 and 4! Looking through these and your other shots on Flickr, and knowing you used two lenses, all else being equal it is easy to spot which were 35-100 and which were 100-300.

Thanks so much everyone - I'm really honored to be on "the cover". The comment on the 35-100 being easy to spot - I agree, the 100-300 does a good job, especially as long as the focal length is, but you do get something for your money with the 35-100. I was surprised to see the "Roos", there were several of them just lounging under a tree and I was able to sit down not more than 4 or 5 feet from the one in the pic... I didn't realize they had such big claws on their front legs. Thanks again for all of the comments.

I think your shot looks better but I had to share the irony. I shot this earlier today.
