    I see that Moscow would lay equal to midway north in Canada, so that explains why everyone is wearing wool coats and hats.

    Beautiful, beautiful light, and well composed. Very interesting the way the curving cloud links the sunrise and the building in photo 3.

    Sorry for the late response but I have been off to capture some pics in France;)
    Sunset at the Côte d’Opale

    Winters can be horrible.

    But, comparing Canada to Europe doesn't help in most cases. Take a look at London, Hamburg or other towns in that region. Their winters are normally way warmer due to the gulf stream.
