Hi all,

I went to Guyana a couple years ago for conservation research and have yet to share these.
They were all taken with an E-M5 with the 12-50mm or 40-150mm lenses.

Great pictures. I love the stars in the night sky! Oh how I wish light and air pollution were not there in my locale....

It was amazing there. The milky way had so much detail and visibility to the naked eye.

great set. Shows what you can do with the "poor" kit zooms...

just wondering, any PP bookeh added?
Yea, I feel like the 12-50mm is very under rated. I love the lens. No PP bokeh added. Some colour changes and unsharp masks here and there.

Great Set, you have taken me back, I am from Guyana. Did you take any in Georgetown showing the now Decaying city? Please post.

Very nice set of pics. Really like that you used the 12-50 and 40-150 lenses. You are inspiring me to pull the 12-50 back out as I have been using so many primes lately.

Sorry not too many. I'm more into wildlife, to each his own.

You can find more at my flicker. Link is in the original post. These were taken at the iwokrama reserve and outside of the village saruma.
