    Dear all,
I have just received my FD-M43 adaptor which I purchased from ebay and can't wait to mount my Canon 50mm F1.4 SSC lens to my Oly EPL-2.
However, I am worried that I may do it incorrectly and appreciate if anyone could provide me a weblink with instructions on how to do it correctly.
    Thanks in advance!

  2. The adapter will have a ring labelled "Open" and "Lock" or something similar to this. Mount and dismount the lens with this ring set to "Open", and only turn it to "Lock" once it securely mounted. The "Lock" position will engage the stop-down lever on the base of the lens so that you can control the aperture.

Your 50/1.4 lens has what's called a breech-lock so rather than turning the whole lens to mount it, you position the lens on the adapter and turn the silver breech to secure it.
