Finally had a chance to get out and do some shooting this weekend. Just starting to get some great color in the area:

Very nice. Its got a few more weeks before looking anything like that here in North Alabama.

Very nice! Love the compositions and the colors.

Would be nice to know the area. ;)

First one is the shot I've been dying to take. You'd think being in the epicenter of fall colors it'd be easy, but I just can't find a road that beautiful. :)

You've inspired me to increase the diameter of my area of operation.

Thanks all! These were shot in and around Madison, WI. Just starting to get some really nice color in the area, so hoping to get some more good photo opportunities in the coming weeks.

The "road" in the first picture is actually a driveway - I drive by that to/from work every day, and always think, "I gotta stop and take a picture" - finally did, and really happy with the results.

Lucky, here in CT our leaves are getting hammered down with a brutal rain the last 2 days before they can get a real nice color to them. Love the lane way shot.

Man jealous! Hoping this rain won't hurt the leaves too much before they get a chance to change colors. What lens?

I hear you - I always get worried that we're going to lose all the great color every time it rains!

    These were all shot with the EM5 and Olympus 14-150. First one is f5.6, ISO 200, 78mm; 2nd one is f4, ISO 1600, 28mm; 3rd one is f4, ISO 320, 28mm.

These were shot in RAW, then PP in LR 4 - did all my usual workflow (all the sliders in the basics panel), and added vignette. Then decided to play around with the first one in Picasa, and added the "boost" preset at a low level, and it really punched up the colors. Every now and then, one of the Picasa presets works out really well.

Leaves are mostly gone here in Alaska. Shot this fellow on the deck yesterday. He's kind of fall colored.
