Fall Color with Polarizing Filter on E-PL1

    I couldn't resist the Amazon daily special of a 46mm circular polarizing filter for only $8.69. I figured if it was no good I could always get a step-up ring for my 58mm filter and use that on my E-PL1.

    Here's a shot I took this morning with the E-PL1 sporting the Zeikos $8.69 46mm multi-coated circular polarizer on it:

    Just a lovely exposure and the right correction. A gorgeous image and thanks for posting it!!

    Actually, I screwed up the correction...

    Much to my dismay I noticed the inconsistency at the bottom of the image and had to replace it with a this one, which is slightly different:

    I'm having cataract surgery on November 11 - and hopefully I'll catch messes like that in the original image a bit sooner!

    Actually, I'm asking to be left a little near-sighted because I've been that way my entire 70 years!

    One more eye to go in a few weeks.

    I just hope these new lenses don't put a crimp in my photoediting skills!

    I'm really enjoying the E-PL1 - the jpgs straight from the camera are marvelous.
