Went to Fairhope (opposite side of bay from Mobile) to visit my brother-in-law's family for Thanksgiving. Got some pretty good pictures in a wide variety of subjects (all are straight OOC jpg, no crop, nothing):

    Flower/Macro (with PL45/2.8):
    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    Portrait (with the PL45/2.8 mostly)
    ry%3D400.

    Scenery (mix of 20/1.7, 45/2.8, and 45-200)
    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    Action (45/2.8 or 20/1.7 IIRC)
    ry%3D400.

    ry%3D400.

    ... even fish jumping
    ry%3D400.

C&C appreciated! Still lots to learn ...

Very nice. I was in Daphne a few years ago. A hurricane came and ran us off though. Very nice pictures of the bay.

No comments/critics? Hmmm ... thought they were better than "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" ...

I've found that putting pictures in the "Image Works" forum, there's usually more critical response to images. This forum is more in general to just show off pictures, I've found.

    DJ's right.
The Image Works draws more attention.

  7. I really like the third flower macro and the boy with the fishing rod. Horizon is not quite level but the blur from the end of the rod looks great.
