When you move the exposure compensation, what is the camera actually doing? Is it moving Fstops or shutter speed? cause it doesn't show that happening. thanks
  2. Depends what mode you are in. In "A" mode it will only change the shutter speed, "S" mode will adjust the f-stop. In "P" mode it will adjust the shutter speed and f-stop in sequence (true on my GH1 at least) until the aperture is wide open, and then only the shutter speed after that. Automatic modes will probably follow this method as well.
