If you had an epm2 with kit lens still within the timeframe for return and you could return it and get the epl5 body only refurbished for $40 or so less than the epm1 with kit lens do you feel it would be worth it to make the change?

Any reasons not to do this that anyone can think of? This is my situation right now. I have no problem with the epm2 but keep hearing that the epl5 is a little better and now assuming Cameta still has refurbished the 2 are close in price with the epl5 body only being a little less.

Unless you need small package, the E-pl5 is a little better in handling but IQ should be the same.

It really depends on whether the E-PL5's tilty screen or control dial is a big deal to you. Those two features are the biggest difference between the two bodies. The E-PL5 also has a couple of extra buttons. The tilty screen adds about 4mm of depth and a bit over 50 grams of weight.

Personally, the control dial would it worth the swap.

Do you already own a lens? If not you will need to factor in the cost of a lens with the PL5.

    Hi. Yes, I own the 45 1.8 and the Sigma 19 2.8 and the Panasonic 14 2.5.
