Before I send it back to the dealer, (it is about 9 months old, so should be in warranty).
Olympus Pen F, and usually with the 25/1.8, but often with OM lenses, adapted.
Lately, the eye sensor controlled switching from LCD to EVF doesn't seem to work. I figured it was a setting which I had inadvertently mucked up, but try as I have, I cannot seem to make it work. I can turn off the eye sensor, and simply toggle between, manually, but I far and away prefer to use it as designed, with the sensor doing the toggling for me.
Additionally, and again, this could be something I have set, without meaning to. Using the EVF, so toggling to EVF only. View is normal brightness for about 3-4 seconds, then dims, to perhaps half the brightness. Nothing "wakens" this dimming, except reverting to the LCD, and then back. Once back it again dims in about 3-4 seconds. I prefer the EVF for most picture taking, but the dimmed view makes it difficult/impossible to use. Is there a setting I have disturbed? (as an aside, this was a feature of the Fuji X line, a power saving feature, but could be disabled so the view stayed at normal brightness). I don't think the LCD dims at all.
Any ideas/pointers?
Gary
