Cue the violins...folks are playing victim all because I'm not tolerating condescending tones and rude replies *yawns*
You get what you give.
Actually I think people are trying to be helpful in spite of you being an obnoxious twit and suggesting that what you get out of this forum is related to what you put in. I can assure you that the combined knowledge in this forum greatly exceeds yours and everyone really wants to give you the benefit of the doubt and be helpful, but you're really making that difficult.
Blah, blah, blah, blah. You finished?
And that's why I'm giving hell right now
Those violins are so LOUD and OUT OF TUNE
All I asked was a question. Most of the "experienced members" were nasty, rude, and condescending right out of the gate.... implying that I lack intellect. I'd prefer you answer the question instead of trying to tag team me because you can't control yourselves
I feel my safe space has been violated and am responding to triggered repressed childhood trauma.
What is this, dpreview?
Until Amin wakes up (I don't have the energy to understand timezones tonight) ... yes.
Amin is the best
Personally I would have 17 1.8 or 15mm panny on primary body (this would be used about 80% of wedding). 45mm or 75mm on second body. I use a light shoulder harness that allows me to have both cameras at all times with no fear of damage.
I think SSmith left the forum
Well with an attitude that he has displayed it is no great loss. IMHO
I don't need to see your work - for me an OM-D would be much less hassle to adjust than a PL-series body. A faster zoom would help on any body to minimize any slow-speed blur that might occur. Weather seals aren't a major issue at most weddings so an EM-10 Classic would be as good as anything for you, and decently priced in the sales corner here.
I'd think a Pen body on P or S mode would be a nice backup to pull out for a specific prime. I just bought a used ePL6 at adorama, E- rated for $160 fast-shipped. I cannot prove that it has no battery issues of course, but repair vs. that price is a guide for you. Good luck!
I'm still contemplating on whether you're 1) really "that kind of person" or 2) just a troll.
If 1), enjoy your isolation on this forum, which is sure to come.
Also (and i generally refrain from making prejudice) enjoy your lawsuits on wedding photography, which i safely presume will be flourishing. I'm not saying it can't be done, but with this "i'm the smartest" attitude, i highly doubt it.
They do. Hence the low tolerance for your attitude. Actually, i'm surprised you weren't outcast after the first reply.
this may well be a contender for "popcorn thread of the year 2016" - I can't believe I missed it when it first kicked off
