    Hi folks,
For those of you who have done the new upgrade on your PM1, what are your thoughts? The vague comment from Oly is that it improves flash performance. What I think I saw this morning was that the flash appears to be shooting with more power, so you can knock the power setting back down to zero.
    Anyone finding anything different?

I am very interested in this also, but will wait to hear other reports prior to updating.

Whatever it is, it must have to do with the clip-on flash, because it says it improves performance "in RC mode", and that only applies to the E-PM1 and E-PL3... the two models which use the clip-on flash for RC. I'm sure that's not a coincidence.

Thanks Ned. I recall your post on another flash related thread regarding the Oly flashes having a mind of their own and firing several seconds after the event. I too have encountered this issue in RC TTL mode. Hopefully this update may resolve this, but from what you have posted it seems to occur with camera bodies other than the EPM1 and EPL3.

You just never know. One can always hope.
