Why no epl-6 in us?
I think it's not even available anywhere else?
It is currently available in Japan already.
OMG and here I am just starting to seriously think about the E-PL5, and it's already been superseded?
This is crazy.
Only marginal changes with respect to the PL5 so I guess they didn't think it was worth it.
I really would love an e-pL6, if only there were hundreds being sold in Britain I could pick one up next year from the forums ... 1/8000sec, ISO100Jpeg, screw-on-grip, mode-mysets, perfect.
For me that's a whole level up in useability from the e-pL5 & e-M5.
Screw-on grip? Different than the one on the E-PL5?
Same grip as e-pL5, which has a screw.
Meaning : e-P5 hasn't.
Ah now I see- you were listing advantages to both of the other models-
Maybe it's worth it to get the camera half way across the world by then. prices would have to be pretty low already.
Actually that's an idea : buy second-hand next year in Japan, then ship it across, with some kind of indication of the actual used prices in Japan so customs don't apply the duty from a brand new model?
That might be a serious proposition,
or were you talking about something else?
Just write something like "USED CAMERA" on the descriptio ... sent as gift hehe I bet that would do the trick
