i was playing around with my epl5 and the little flash that came with it, i was just shooting random stuff in my room, i set my camera to aperture priority, flash mode is in auto and iso at 3200 and i noticed that my photos where very over exposed, the entire image was almost white. i was shooting pretty close to the subject, maybe less than a foot away from the subject.

is this normal? when the flash is set to auto isnt it suppose to adjust the flash power automatically to avoid overexposing the image?

    thank you

if you using flash, why set iso that high, thats probably why it is so over exposed.

It's possible the flash can't go to a power level low enough for ISO 3200 given the distance to the subject... Try holding a white business card infront of it to bounce the light up to a wall
