I was hoping to get something as incredible as November, 2010, as we heard that the last, big dump was coming this past weekend.

Long story short, we were not disappointed. Still working through a lot of exposures, and I came back w/121, which is enormous for me. My g/f, a pro who shoots Canon, came back w/over 700.

All shot with 20mm 1.7 or the 14-45. I brought the arsenal with me, including legacy glass from 135mm to 400mm, but they never came out. Since we were in the valley exclusively, I needed WIDE, like the 7-14, but I don't own anything like that (yet). It made me miss shooting FF 18mm, but I made do with getting big, sweeping vistas and foot-zooming, etc.... All PP in RAW through LR4

    In no particular order:

Not sure if I like the colors on this, but that can always be changed.

Yosemite is one of my favorite places in the world, and it is especially magical right after it snows. Thanks for sharing these images with is :) .

Nice pics. Yosemite is a wonderful place.
We had snow (actually a nice dusting) Saturday in the mountains behind Santa Barbara (but it melted later in the day, oh well!)

Excellent shots! I especially like 1, 2, and 5. Has your gf put any shots up for us to see?
  6. Fabulous! Some of the images almost look monochrome, and then you see the subtle colours.

Wow, just to see this spectacular panorama is awesome ... but then to capture all this wonderment ... is beyond words. Thank you for sharing. I love California.

Thanks! Indeed, she has posted at least one, w/many more to follow (esp. given the fact that she shoots so many shots/trip)

Although she uses higher end Canon stuff, I like to think the differences in our shots are due to style, philosophy and processing tastes ;-) That, and I have simply GOT to get a mid-range zoom. That 70-200 lives on that 5DII,

This one is similar to my second one.

Thanks! That's not one of her more spectacular ones, and only the first from what she's processed, AFAIK.
