Based on my very noob-like observation, perhaps it is not as bad as people first thought?

I'm not familiar with their testing regime, but I'm interested to know what actual resolution values they assign to "Excellent", "Good", etc.

In terms of CA & distortion control, given it was tested on a Panny body, does that mean it was auto corrected? I can never remember the answer to this, but I know Panny lens + Panny body means CA correction and distortion correction, but no CA correction on Oly bodies.

Be interested to get the opinions from some of the more learned types :)

I managed to dig up their review of the original m.Zuiko 14-42 lens. Based on the graphs, perhaps my optimism for the 12-50 was a tad misplaced?

(hope it's ok to link to the graphs)

    14-42 @ 14mm

    14-42 @ 25mm

    14-42 @ 42mm

    12-50 @ 12mm

    12-50 @ 27mm

    12-50 @ 50mm
