When I push the Up Arrow on the 4 way controller, I can change the f stop (when in A mode) or the exp. comp.
I find it MUCH easier to use the 2 control dilas for this.
Is this its only function? Can it not be assigned to something else?

You can't reassign the up and left functions of the 4 way controller, unless you turn off all functions and just use it to select the AF point. It's a stupid restriction IMHO - the right and down can be reassigned no problem.

Thanks pdk42 - so all it does is change aperture and exp.comp which is more easily done using the control wheels - that's REALLY stupid Olympus!
