    Hi all,

I do image overlay in camera for 2 pictures being merged, i wonder why the result from that is JPEG L(N) + RAW? My friend also use EM5 and his result is JPEG L(Fine).

Anyone know how to setting image overlay so that the result from it is JPEG L (Fine)?

    Regards,

it saves it as what ever your camera is set to save as in a normal single exposure, so you must be set raw, that saves it as raw and LN, so if you want to save as LF you have to change the info screen to LF jpg or at least Raw and LF while shooting multiexposures.. in your overlay menu if you have it set to on it will use a raw file anyway..

    page 73 of manual

Up to 3 frames of RAW images taken with the camera can be overlaid and saved as a
separate image. The image is saved with the record mode set at the time the image is
saved. (If [RAW] is selected, the copy will be saved in [LN+RAW] format.)

Anyone have samples of images made using the image overlay option? Would love to see some.
