Since buying my EM5 earlier on in the year I've not updated the firmware, can I just upgrade to the latest release or do I have to go thru the whole lot of updates one by one?

You will have no choice except to accept the update or not, but it has to go up from where it was last updated. What level is in the camera now?

I've never done an update on it so I would imagine it's the original firmware. It's been something that I've been meaning to do but have never got round to doing it.

I would guess you are on 1.5. The current version is 1.7.

I didn't bother as none of these issues affected me:

    (Jun. 12, 2013)
    Supported VF-4 electronic view finder.
    * Automatic display switching by the eye sensor is not supported.
    (Feb. 19, 2013)
The highlight and shadow control function was modified so the exposure settings are applied correctly at ISO 2000 or higher.
The issue that occasionally prevented operations during long exposures was resolved.

I'm on version 1.4. Must try and update it when I've got five minutes.

Takes much longer than 5 minutes I'm afraid.

    But worthwhile doing it though.

How do you guys update it?

When I look on Oly's website it says the update is not available. Do you have a link to a list of firmwares? I'm hoping to have the issue resolved where the camera doesn't wake up from sleeping. Thanks!

ISO 100 vs ISO 200, is there any difference comparing two images? less grain or something ?

Ok, someone pass the crow. I have my knife and fork ready.

I'm surprised they did this but then again this isn't a radical change.

Glad to see they were willing do this.

wish they'd give up 24p in video! That would be an update worth having.

Haha, whoops! I was on 1.2. It had to update to 1.4 before it could update to 2.0.

I knew I was a little bit behind, but my cam was working perfectly fine, so I decided to stay put. I didn't realize there had been like 5 firmware updates.
