B&H say $1499 - but it doesn't matter. In the grand scheme of things both combo prices are still nowhere near enough of a price cut to remotely interest me. The body itself at $470, now that's interesting... I wonder, as JIP get into their stride, whether we will see wholesale price cuts across the board.
I think you will see a smaller range, but not necessarily a cheaper range.
There is some sort of clearance going on. Motives could be lower than expected sales, a rationalisation of the range (is the EM1 Mk 3 worth the extra at the moment?) or the need to turn stock back into money.
Are they selling as many 12-45s as they hoped? Was the lens too expensive in the first place? Do they have a glut of grips? Only Olympus knows the answers to these questions.
