I don't think this is a fantastic bargain considering the EM1 is out and the EM10 is coming. But, considering you can sell the lens for $300, $600 is the cheapest you can get a get an em5 body.

If anyone finds it cheaper let me know. This is still too much for me to pull the trigger! :frown:

EDIT: Looks like it went back to up to $999. Uggghhh!

Honestly you can't sell that lens for more then $200.... From what I have seen at-least.

Yeah? Maybe because there are a lot of them out here. For $200 though, it's worth keeping: macro, 12mm wide, 50mm on long end, splash proof. Problem is probably that everyone says it's not the sharpest. I haven't really compared because everyone says it's not so great and it's kind of big. Seems like a good lens if you can get it for that price though!

Oh yeah it seems like a pretty solid lens for the money for sure. If I liked using zoom's more I would probably have this lens in my bag just for the macro capabilities + weather sealing alone. I see them listed on CL for $180-$200 all the time (often new, separated from kits).

It's definitely not the sharpest lens, but a very good value with nice build quality for the money.
