I am going to be heading to the beach in a few days and am looking forward to long exposures (sun rising, waves, etc...) with the EM10, as I have not ever used it like that before. My question is about shooting them. My previous DSLRs, I have always used bulb mode. Is this the best method with the EM10?

The E-M10 has a few modern tricks to make bulb in Manual a bit easier - Live Bulb, Live Time, and Live Composite. Live composite is a bit specialised for light painting and fireworks, stick to the other two for general use.

All have periodic live preview. I'd leave noise reduction on auto so the camera does dark frame subtraction of noise.
