Just curious if any EM1 owners have used the 14-150 on it?

As my first lens, I'm getting the 14-150 as a walkabout lens, for longer walks around nyc. Specifically, I'd be most interested in your experience with this combination's autofocus speeds.

I've also pre-ordered the 12-40 but am not excited about the weight, though i'm obviously excited about the constant f/2.8 and build quality.

Thanks in advance for any comments on how the 14-150 is working out on the EM1.

I bought my EM-1 and the 14-150 at the same time. My intent is to replace my heavy Nikon 28-300 + D3-s body for general photography (hiking trips, travel, vacation, etc.). For those instances, f/4-5.6 is plenty fast enough. The lens seems to focus almost instantaniously and the images look great. I have a small folder of NEF's that I haven't processed yet, so I don't have an image to post.

    Hope that helps!

14-150 works great on the E-M5, it should be no slouch on the E-M1.

Or alternatively you could consider the new MK2 Panasoic 14 - 140mm !
