The "Connection to Smartphone" menu that appears on most PEN and OM-D non-Wifi cameras when you use a FlashAir card doesn't work on the EM-5 with the newest FlashAir III card. On June 11 Olympus released firmware updates for PEN cameras such as the E-PM2 to support the FlashAir III. However the E-M5 was missed from this list. A user can still enable/disable WiFi manually on the FlashAir III, but this is through an unintuitive interface of setting or removing Protection on a static JPG that appears first in the Play interface to toggle the WiFi. I've tweeted at Olympus to ask them when the firmware will be upgraded. In the meantime, if you're an EM-5 owner and FlashAir user and were thinking about upgrading, just bear in mind you'll lose the "Connection to Smartphone" menu with the FlashAir III.
