sorry if this is a daft question: Is there a button or can I assign one to get instant 100% zoom in playback mode? using the scroll wheel is not really that quick..

    Hi,

    I don't think so.

However, once you're zoomed in, you can flip between images using the other wheel, without losing the zoom.

Yes, Fn1 button if pressed during playback will give a zoomed view (on 2nd press) which can be set at 2 X & up to 14 X using the rear wheel to adjust the magnification. It remembers that setting each time you view the images & when pressed once it shows the focus box area used for that photo & a 2nd press shows the magnified view (a 3rd press shows the multiple face detected points etc).
