We decided to take one of the final historic tours before renovation starts in the spring. While noted as a historical building, it is also listed as one of Michigan's most haunted sites, and one of the most haunted sites in the country. It's a paranormal investigator's holy grail, and as such it will be turned into a paranormal hotel.

This is the Kay Beard Building, built in 1931 on the foundation of a building that burned. There are 5 of the original 75 buildings left, this is the only one you can go into.

Great photos, I also really like the historical teaser at the start.

Taking a photo of a plaque or sign that describes something beats my memory and it's easier than writing it down or looking it up later. When we toured the thoroughbred farms in KY, I took a picture of the stable card after the horse. At an air show I'll shoot the poster or sign if they have one. Biggest surprise was a Michigan historical marker at a Civil War battlefield in KY.
