I sold an Olympus 300mm lens for £53 this week on Ebay.
After the sale was completed the buyer said he no longer wanted the item. He had not read the description or looked at the photograph properly. I have been billed for the sale by Ebay.
I have relisted the lens for sale on Ebay.m
I have tried to find out from the Ebay site how to cancel the fee and/ or report the buyer but just can't get my head round how to do it.
Can anyone advise, in simple terms, how to get the fee cancelled?

Have you talked with their customer support team?

    Yep. I'd call Ebay 866 540-3229.

This usually happens automatically, but not right away (assuming you cancelled the sale through ebay/my ebay) and refunded $. There may be a clearing period on paypal to prevent fraud.

You need to make sure that you cancel the order through eBay. It is available under the "more actions" tab from the item drop down section in your "my eBay" items sold section.

    Many thanks everyone for advice.
Good news is that he saw sense and has paid through Paypal.
He says he will sell it on.
    Thanks again
