Nice view of Mono Lake. This is one of my favorite areas in California.

May not be fall colors, but the colors are still beautiful. Very, very nice!
  4. Beautiful countryside! I love the wide expanse of the third image.

Thanks everybody! Yes, it is a beautiful country, and IMO autumn (and spring) are probably the best times to visit, both in terms of lighting and in terms of lack of traffic. First time I've driven across Yosemite during daylight and not spent several hours stuck behind an RV!

    So Cal
Beautiful shots. Your photos made me want to go again, as it has been almost a year since we were last there. So the wife and I cancelled our plans for this upcoming weekend and booked a room in the Mammoth area instead . Seems there still are some fall colors in the area. Thanks!

Hope you had a good stay at Mammoth! I went to Bridgeport on Sunday and there were still a number of good areas along US 395. This week's snowstorms probably changed things a bit.

Beautifully captured, Dara. I'd love to head out that way some day.
