Easter Lilys with Panasonic GH2 and Canon 5d Mark II

    Took some photos for the world wide micro four thirds day group on flickr with the GH2 and Olympus OM 50 f3.5 macro and a couple of days earlier with the 5D mark II and an old film lens: Canon FD 50 f3.5.

    Can you please explain the difference in the 'white' between first pair and the second pair images.

    Was the lighting and all camera setting the same.

    Are we comparing like for like....GH2 v Canon 5D

    I hate to say it, but it's really a no-contest in terms of quality and colour (although the latter could have been down to PP), but I guess you'd expect that having spent so much on a FF body.....

    Dave, I ended up using window light and a long exposure for the 5D Mark II photos and I used a flash (in a softbox) for the GH2 photos so I didn't have the same set up. I needed to work on the white balance a little more with the GH2 photos as some others have noted.
    I felt like the GH2 held up respectably considering the differences in sensor size,
