I'm trying to decide whether to get an Olympus XZ-1 or an E-PM1 with either a Lumix 14mm lens or an Olympus 17mm lens. My desire is to have a camera that has manual controls, hot shoe, EVF, zoom lens or interchangeable lenses, takes decent pictures, and can almost fit in my front pants pocket.

To that end, I need to find the length from the back screen to the lens cap of the 2 lenses mentioned above, mounted to the E-PM1.

I tried to research this but the lens dimensions listed online are not specific enough because it is not clear if they are listing the overall length of the lens, or the mounted length, with lens mount tucked in the camera.

Short of buying the two lenses, the camera and measuring it myself, I am hoping that someone with an E-PM1 and/or either of the lenses could give me a measurement, in mm, if it’s not too much to ask =)

    Thanks so much!

I asked a floor MGR in our store to check for you.

Epm1 + 17mm + lens cap= from LCD to front of lens cap is 6.3cm (in mm, 63)
Epm1 + 14mm + lens cap = from LCD to front of lens cap is 6cm (in mm, 60)
